im worried sometimes that when i say i hate capitalism people will think i just mean it in an offhand pizza man said fuck work type of way and that’s all good and fun but most of the time what i mean is that i hate it for the deeply evil system that it is and i hate the immeasurable amount of suffering it has caused and continues to cause. I hate the number of deaths and ruined lives that are directly attributable to it. I hate how it causes people to live lives without dignity, autonomy, or joy. I hate that most people believe that this is the way it has to be and that capitalism and all of its evils are just a fact of life and that there isn’t any alternative to these conditions of global exploitation and suffering. I can’t think of many other things that i hate as wholeheartedly or that i would more gladly see burn to the ground
